Ten determined cyclists are preparing to saddle up for the annual Tour de Tapping charity cycle ride, covering an impressive 123 miles across West Norfolk in support of Tapping House Hospice.

Taking place on 16th June, the challenge will see riders visit every Tapping House charity shop in a single day before returning to King's Lynn, raising vital funds for the hospice and helping to support the exceptional care it provides to patients and families across the region. Among the cyclists taking part are two members of Rotary Club of King's Lynn Priory and one member of King's Lynn Rotary Club, all proud to be supporting this worthwhile cause.
The route begins at St Nicholas' Chapel in King's Lynn before taking the team through communities across West Norfolk, including Snettisham, Hunstanton, Burnham Market, Wells-next-the-Sea, Fakenham, Swaffham, Downham Market and Wisbech. The riders will also make a special stop at Tapping House Hospice itself during the day.
The challenge is as much about community support as it is about cycling. Residents, friends, family members and supporters are encouraged to come along to their nearest stop to cheer on the riders as they pass through. A few words of encouragement can make a huge difference when tackling a ride of this distance.
The planned schedule includes:
King's Lynn (St Nicholas' Chapel) – Depart 8:00am
Snettisham – 8:50am
Hunstanton – 9:20am
Burnham Market – 10:20am
Wells-next-the-Sea – 10:55am
Fakenham – 11:55am
Tapping House Hospice – 1:05pm
Swaffham – 2:40pm
Downham Market – 3:50pm

Tapping House Hospice provides invaluable care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones throughout Norfolk. Fundraising events such as Tour de Tapping help ensure that these services can continue to be available to those who need them most.
Everyone involved wishes the cyclists the very best for the challenge ahead and hopes local communities will come out to show their support along the route.
If you see the Tour de Tapping riders on 16th June, please give them a wave, a cheer and your encouragement as they take on this remarkable challenge for a truly deserving cause.
