Music lovers from across Norfolk and beyond enjoyed an unforgettable evening of live progressive rock as Rotary King's Lynn Priory Satellite hosted the hugely successful Yes Please concert at St Nicholas’ Chapel in King's Lynn on Friday 30th May.

Yes Please live on stage at St Nicholas' Chapel, King's Lynn.

The evening opened with a stunning performance from British Rock Experience, whose exceptional musicianship and superb vocals had the audience captivated from the very first song.

"We couldn't have asked for a better support act," said Eddie West-Burnham, Satellite Chair. "The quality of the performance was outstanding and set the perfect tone for the evening."

The excitement continued when headline act Yes Please took to the stage. Renowned for their faithful and energetic celebration of the music of legendary progressive rock band YES, the group delivered a breath-taking performance that showcased the remarkable talent of every band member.

Combined with an impressive sound and lighting production, the performance transformed the historic surroundings of St Nicholas’ Chapel into a spectacular live music venue, earning enthusiastic praise from concertgoers throughout the evening.

The Rotary Club was particularly proud to see one of its own members performing on stage. King's Lynn Rotarian Peter Oddey, whose technical skill and precision drumming were a highlight of the evening, played a key role in delivering a performance that left a lasting impression on the audience.

The event raised £2261.50 for local charities, helping Rotary King's Lynn Priory Satellite continue its work supporting good causes throughout the local community.

The Club would also like to express its sincere thanks to event sponsor Trevor Barker, whose generous support helped make the concert possible and to Kirsty Finnigan of The Churches Conservation Trust for assisting us with the venue.

"We are incredibly grateful to Trevor for his sponsorship and to everyone who bought tickets, attended the event, and supported us behind the scenes. It was a fantastic evening of music, friendship and fundraising, and we're delighted with how well it was received."
