Eggcellent turnout for Priory’s Easter Egg Trail at Sandringham

Easter Sunday saw Priory Rotary holding their 10th annual Easter Egg Trail at Sandringham, again raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. During the course of the morning and early afternoon, an estimated 1,000 people, many dressed with bunny ears and Easter bonnets, wound their way along the well-marked trail past the play area and through the woods in search of 18 cleverly placed clues. Most were family groups with excited young children, all enjoying the friendly atmosphere of this gentle mile long walk.

At the finish, everyone collected their Paw Patrol Easter Egg generously provided by Kinnertons Chocolates in Fakenham. There was also a very popular cuddly toy tombola run by the Air Ambulance next to the Rotary gazebos to round off the day.

The final amount raised is yet to be determined, but is estimated to be about £3,000. Priory would like to thank the Sandringham Estate for again helping with the organisation and providing such an excellent venue for this event. Also the many hard-working Rotary volunteers on the day, who ensured the event ran smoothly.
