Firewalk to Fundraise! 2026 – An Inspiring Night of Challenges, Courage and Community

What a night!

Firewalk to Fundraise! 2026 brought together firewalkers, supporters, volunteers and local businesses at Alive Lynnsport for an inspiring evening of personal challenges and fundraising for eight different local Norfolk charities.

The first firewalker across the coals for Firewalk to Fundraise! 2026

This year, six teams and five individual firewalkers stepped forward to take on the challenge, each raising money for a cause that mattered to them.

More than just a firewalk

The experience began long before anyone stepped onto the glowing coals.

Under the guidance of Mark and Tanya Daniels from Charity Firewalk, our participants were encouraged to challenge themselves, push beyond their perceived limitations and prepare mentally for what lay ahead.

And the firewalk wasn't the only challenge! During the evening, firewalkers also had the opportunity to take part in an arrow break and a glass walk, making the experience about far more than simply crossing the coals.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. With friends, family and supporters cheering them on, our firewalkers stepped barefoot onto the glowing coals and made their way across. It was fantastic to see the sense of achievement as each person reached the other side.

We hope everyone who took part came away not only proud of the money they raised for their chosen charity, but having had a profound and memorable personal experience too.

A fantastic atmosphere

A massive thank you must go to Mark and Tanya Daniels from Charity Firewalk for delivering such an inspiring experience and to their team for the fantastic fire performance and for expertly tending the fire throughout the evening.

We'd also like to thank Chris Osler from KL1 Radio, who brought his energy and enthusiasm to the event and helped create a brilliant atmosphere throughout the evening.

And, of course, our thanks go to Alive Lynnsport for hosting us and helping us bring Firewalk to Fundraise! back to King’s Lynn for another year.

Thank you to our sponsors

We are extremely grateful to the local businesses who supported this year's event:

GPFM

Stephenson Smart

The Extraordinary Hat Company

Piggin' Out Catering

West Norfolk Glass

Roythorne & Son

Their support helps us put events like this together and ultimately enables us to support more good causes within our community.

We'd also like to thank all our fellow Rotarians and volunteers who helped before and during the event, whether preparing behind the scenes, registering participants, marshalling or helping everything run smoothly on the night.

Eight Norfolk charities will benefit

At the heart of Firewalk to Fundraise! is fundraising for our local community. This year, our firewalkers were raising money for eight different local Norfolk charities, meaning one night of personal challenges will have an impact across a range of causes.

We don't have our final fundraising figure just yet. Several teams carried out their fundraising independently rather than through our central JustGiving campaign, and donations are still coming in. We're now gathering those individual totals and will share the final amount raised by Firewalk to Fundraise! 2026 as soon as we have them all.

For now, congratulations to every single person who took part. You faced the challenges. You crossed the coals. And you did it for causes that matter.

Thank you for making Firewalk to Fundraise! 2026 such a memorable night. 🔥
