King’s Lynn Priory Rotary has been recognised for its support of international disaster relief efforts through its partnership with ShelterBox.
The club has received a ShelterBox Partner Club Bronze Award for Rotary Year 2023–24, recognising its fundraising contribution of £2,537.50 towards helping families affected by disasters around the world.

ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and essential household items to families who have lost their homes following natural disasters or conflict. Working in partnership with Rotary clubs worldwide, the organisation delivers practical aid that helps communities begin the process of recovery and rebuilding.
The certificate, presented to the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn Priory, acknowledges the club’s “outstanding support to help ensure that no one is left without shelter after disaster.”
ShelterBox Chief Executive Sanj Srikanthan thanked the club for its contribution, recognising the vital role Rotary clubs play in supporting the charity’s humanitarian work across the globe.
Through initiatives such as this, King’s Lynn Priory Rotary continues to support not only local community projects across West Norfolk but also international humanitarian efforts, demonstrating Rotary’s wider commitment to helping those most in need.
The partnership between Rotary and ShelterBox has helped provide shelter, warmth and dignity to thousands of families worldwide following earthquakes, floods, conflicts and other disasters.
