On 11th December 2025, the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn Priory Satellite hosted its Firewalk Publicity Evening at The Farmers Arms, where the final fundraising total for the Firewalk to Fundraise! 2025 event was officially revealed.
After all event costs were covered, the firewalk grand total raised stood at an impressive £32,062. These funds are now being distributed amongst the 18 charities represented in the event, with each charity receiving a share of the total proportionate to the funds raised by their team, and an additional £100 donation from Rotary King’s Lynn Priory Satellite as a thank-you for their involvement and community impact.

The 18 benefiting charities are:

The Firewalk, held on 14th November 2025, brought together brave walkers, charity teams, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters from across the region. The Publicity Evening was an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding total raised and the powerful community spirit behind it.
Anna Mace for Rotary Priory Satellite said:
"This Firewalk has shown what happens when a community unites behind its charities. Every participant and supporter helped raise an extraordinary amount that will directly benefit organisations doing vital work across West Norfolk and beyond. We are proud to support each charity, including our £100 gift to acknowledge their commitment and contribution."
A Special Thank You to Supporters and Sponsors
Rotary Priory Satellite extends heartfelt thanks to KL1 Radio for their enthusiastic promotion and ongoing community support.
Sincere appreciation is also given to the many local businesses and event sponsors whose generosity, services, and contributions ensured the event’s success. Their support helped create a safe, uplifting, and memorable experience for everyone taking part.
Planning is already underway for the next Rotary Priory event, the Rotary Swimarathon on the 7th February 2026, and the group continues its mission to foster connection, enjoyment and meaningful impact.
