Rotary Donation Helps Forward Day Centre Equip Its Kitchen

King’s Lynn Priory Rotary Club is delighted to have donated £250 to Forward Day Centre, helping the charity purchase a new oven for one of the kitchens used by the people who benefit from its services.

Based in King’s Lynn, Forward is an independent local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism across West Norfolk. The charity works to create equal opportunities for vulnerable adults, helping them develop skills, independence and confidence so they can lead the lives they choose within their community.

The new oven will provide a practical resource within the centre, enabling those who attend to take part in cooking and kitchen-based activities and develop valuable everyday life skills.

We are pleased that our donation has been able to fund something tangible that will be used and enjoyed by people at the centre for years to come.

Supporting local organisations such as Forward, which make a real difference to people in our community, is an important part of what Rotary is all about.
