2025 Rotary Technology Tournament held at Kings Lynn Academy

19 teams of students representing King’s Lynn Academy, Springwood, Smithdon and Marshland took part in this year’s Rotary Technology Tournament at Kings Lynn Academy on November 7th. Their task was to create a small model battery-driven motorised vehicle using a limited range of construction materials. Event organiser Derek Stringer said it was very encouraging to see how well the groups worked in their teams of four, tackling some very demanding technical issues. The winning teams were King’s Lynn Academy for the Juniors, Smithdon Academy for the Intermediates, and Springwood High School for the Seniors.
